When I maintain that perspective…oh what an honor it is to be presented such opportunities…and how thankful can we be to our God who loves us so much that he chose us to be His ambassadors and fellow workers…

the idea that God would chose me and save me, muchless use me (or any of us for that matter) brings a huge, goofy grin to my face.

I think a lot of the time it just comes down to good old fashioned human pride – I think much more highly of myself than is warranted. “God, what should I do? How can I be a witness to this person, etc.?” Noble enough desires, but (for me, at least) too often rooted in thinking God needs me to accomplish His plans. How much better if I could just be satisfied to simply be accepted in His presence.
