Hey Amy,

As a general rule of thumb, I wouldn't post anything you wouldn't say in a normal work setting. Since you only posted pertinent information to what you'd previously learned and know that it accurately applies, don't sweat it. Maybe more people will start posting professional appropriate comments, too. I've been on Linked in for a long time and have quite a few contacts, but rarely ever see people leave comments. The recommendations and communications seem to happen more predominantly through private messages there rather than the kind comments we see on Facebook. BUT, you ARE a trend setter and if your intelligence in your field brings attention by leaving a comment, realize that it's just that and nothing to be afraid of. You've done absolutely nothing wrong, friend.

Being Sold Out For Christ is not a look it is action. You have to totally surrender your life to God. Not to the church religion or man but to God. You have to be determined to stand alone if you have to for God because when God is using you people will turn against you because they will not understand what God is doing but you have to know without a shadow of doubt that you are being led by God. You have to have the attitude of Christ and learn to forgive and bless. No matter what comes or leaves you have to put your hands in the masters hand and follow.

Thanks so much for your comments Lance, and your encouragement. I don't mind broken records :-)

This was a post that once I finished it, I didn't even know whether I should post. Its evolution felt so personal...like maybe God just wanted me to start writing so that He could meet me, where He did, at the end of the post.

Do you ever read Henri Nouwen?

I feel like a broken record, but I have to say thanks again. This post is an encouragement to me. You're not alone in your struggles. Most of what you've written here I could have written myself. Very different circumstances maybe, but pretty much the same issues, the same questions, the same doubts... and the same stars. The same Lord. I doubt myself more with every passing year, but as I do, my confidence in His love, His grace and His patience increase.
