As a general rule of thumb, I wouldn’t post anything you wouldn’t say in a normal work setting. Since you only posted pertinent information to what you’d previously learned and know that it accurately applies, don’t sweat it. Maybe more people will start posting professional appropriate comments, too. I’ve been on Linked in for a long time and have quite a few contacts, but rarely ever see people leave comments. The recommendations and communications seem to happen more predominantly through private messages there rather than the kind comments we see on Facebook. BUT, you ARE a trend setter and if your intelligence in your field brings attention by leaving a comment, realize that it’s just that and nothing to be afraid of. You’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, friend.

Although I disagree on the last part. Red roses seem soo cliche. Yellow isn’t the best. But, like the orangey pink ones are sweet:)
